17 MAY 2018: On Saturday, passengers on British Airway’s flight from London to Toronto will be on a flight dedicated to Britain’s royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. All the staff members scheduled for BA93 are named Harry or Megen, with one Meghan.

BA customer service manager Megan Horsley will lead the on-board crew and First Officer Harry Blake will be in the cockpit on a flight that departs from Heathrow at 1:10 pm, an hour after the vows are delivered.

Each passenger will receive a bottle of Castelnau Blanc du Blanc as well as a piece of lemon and elderflower Victoria sponge, the same chosen for the royal wedding cake.

The good wishes are extended to anyone named Harry, Meghan or Megan (and their travelling companions) who are invited to use the airline’s first class lounge in terminal five on the wedding day, and leave with a piece of cake.

Toronto has been a city of significance for Markle, an American actress who lived in Toronto while filming the series ‘Suits.

Her first public photograph with Queen Elizabeth’s grandson (sixth in line to the British throne) was in Toronto at the Invictus Games in September.

The wedding will take place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Starting the Sunday, wedding highlights will be available for viewing as well as documentaries on the couple and Windsor Castle.
